We pride ourselves on using only the best components for our grow mixes and soil amendments. If you have read our history you are aware of the many unique properties of our base products. We are unique in being able to offer these products to you. Our commitment to providing products of the highest quality led us to build a state of the art processing facility all on a large pad of concrete so as to not introduce any other contanimants to our products.
Our Designer Soils enhancement begin with our source material that contains 95% aged wood and bark and 5% forest material. These products significantly augment the growing environment when mixed into the soil, planting pot, garden or as a top dressing for turf. We add various other components (composted dairy manure, poultry compost, perlite, etc.) to our varied products to bring you the best soils and soil amendments you can buy.
These products and their components are a source for vital plant nutrients and provide an ideal growing environment for beneficial microbes. They enhance the soil profile which helps keep the soil loose, improves root growth, aids water infiltration, and allows the soil to increase its water holding capacity.
They improve the soil profile by adding organic matter and building overall soil structure, and providing additional nutrients for plants. The wood and bark used has undergone an exclusive aging process of more than 20 years. These products are designed for a variety of uses including home gardens, flowerbeds, grow mixes for nurseries or green houses and golf courses. Some of the benefits are:
